Pievepelago - S. Annapelago

Pievepelago - S. Annapelago

Pievepèlago – Sant’Anna Pèlago ...Skiing for all tastes!

The area between the provinces of Modena and Pistoia is considered as the most beautiful and interesting of the Northern Apennines; it features the highest and most imposing peaks and the most popular and well-equipped ski resorts from CIMONE (the “gateway” to the Polle is just 10 km away) to Abetone (14 km).  Pievepèlago is at the natural centre of this area which is within reach of all the main winter resorts.

Lift systems in the municipality are in SANT’ANNA PÈLAGO: one ski lift and two connected double chairlifts that go up Mount Albano to 1700 metres.

A new Snow-park with great attractions was opened last year for snowboard lovers near the runs of the Ghiacci chairlift station. Skis and boots can be hired on site. The lift system is just a few hundred metres from the hotels of Sant’Anna Pèlago eliminating any transfer problems.

In Acque Chiare there is a striking  permanent Nordic skiing trail with double tracks approved for national competitions with 7.5 - 5 - 3 km loops that unfold in splendid scenery.

Special offers for the “shuttle services” are available for groups staying in the hotels of the chief town.

The sixteen hotels in Pievepèlago, Sant’Anna Pèlago and Tagliole offer interesting offers for a week on the snow: for singles, groups and schools.
